CPI achieves EcoVadis Silver Medal

First-time Silver Medal achievement places CPI among the top 15% of EcoVadis-assessed companies, reflecting significant progress in the company’s continuous improvement journey.

Each year, CPI participates in the EcoVadis assessment to evaluate and continuously improve its responsible business practices. Receiving a Silver Medal marks an important milestone in the company’s ongoing development and reflects the dedication of colleagues across the organisation who contribute to improving processes, strengthening collaboration, and implementing new initiatives.

Compared with last year’s result, where CPI achieved a Bronze Medal and ranked among the top 35% of assessed companies, the company has made significant progress. The EcoVadis score has improved by 11 percentage points, demonstrating the positive impact of the initiatives and efforts implemented across the organisation.

A result driven by continuous improvement

Working with EcoVadis has become an important part of CPI’s continuous improvement process. The assessment provides valuable insights into the company’s strengths and areas where further development can create value. These insights support internal discussions and help guide future initiatives.

CPI's Sustainability Manager, Line S. Meldgaard, explains what has contributed to this year's result:

This result reflects the work we have done over the past year to further embed ESG into our business processes. One important focus has been integrating ESG more closely into our procurement processes to help ensure compliance, meet our customers' expectations, and drive positive impact across our value chain.

A milestone that motivates further progress

Achieving the first EcoVadis Silver Medal is an important milestone for CPI. However, the company's focus remains on continuously strengthening its responsible business practices and creating long-term value for customers, partners, employees, and other stakeholders.

CPI is already working on new initiatives to further integrate responsible business practices across the organisation and continue developing as a responsible and trusted business partner. Sustainability Manager, Line S. Meldgaard, explains:

Receiving our first EcoVadis Silver Medal is a great achievement and shows the progress we have made over the past year. However, our work does not stop here.

We are already looking into new initiatives and improvements that can help us further develop and mature our sustainability practices. Our ambition is to continue developing as a responsible business and create positive impact across our value chain.
