At CPI, we only remanufacture OE cores, and our alternators are remanufactured to meet OE standards.
As part of our remanufacturing process, we always replace bushings, brushes, bearings, oil seals, and the direct clutch. Other components are inspected and either restored or replaced based on strict specifications developed during the product’s initial analysis.
All alternators undergo comprehensive end-of-line testing, including parameters such as maximum output, VSP (Voltage Set Point), and turn-on speed — all according to OE specifications.
All CPI alternators are delivered ready to install. If special attention is needed, or if you encounter any unexpected issues during installation, simply scan the QR code on the box to access detailed installation instructions and troubleshooting guidelines.
A remanufactured alternator from CPI saves the environment 82% CO2eq, 79% energy, and 91 % of the new materials compared to a newly manufactured alternator.*
